Does love exist at first sight?
This question always unleashes debate. On one side there are the champions of the instant chemistry, and on the other, those who dismiss the possibility of emphasizing that a man and a woman fall in love with just a look. It is likely that both groups are right, because there are cases that support the first theory and others that refute it. But the truth is that those who put their expectations in a love at first contact, they end up losing because they had so many expectations on the first date that when they did not achieved them, they feel hopelessly frustrated.
My husband and I met in college in 1999. The day I met him was a very particular one since it was my first day of college. I went to the cafeteria before my first class to get something to eat and the first thing I see is this guy around several girls making them laugh. My first impression was “what a jerk”. He was also dress in a particular way that I did not like. Days went by and I realized that there was something more interesting beyond the way he dress or the way he looked in the outside. It was his heart. I never thought I would have a relationship with him or even marry him until we both went over our expectations. In 2002 we got married.
I don’t know if love at first sight exits or not. What I believe is that it really depends on the person and the circumstances...
